CrimeWriters Queensland offers a suite of hands-on workshops on the craft of writing crime, offered by two presenters who have published with the group and have long experience of cooking up crime and tasting the results. These workshops are all about getting involved, and participants set to work to hone their skills in some of the techniques which are vital to writing successful crime fiction.
Each of the four workshops can be taken as a stand-alone event, or as part of a series of two, three, or four workshops. Each workshop can be of two or three hours duration.

Fiction Writing for Beginners
Crime novelist Anne Infante has put together a 12-session writing course. The lessons are detailed, easy to grasp and relevant to beginner authors. They are presented with humour and an awareness of the needs of the amateur writer. Some sections, such as Premise and Writer's Block, are seldom mentioned in other courses or books.
